  Re-Enrollment for 2010-2011 Please fill our your forms and send them to the office.  Remember your re-enrollment fee is due by March 31^st to receive a discount.  

Sight and Sound We are leaving tomorrow around 11am. Students will have class from 8-11.  Please pack a lunch for the drive up.  We will be back around 4:00.

Lost and Found We have a box in the office of items that have lost their way.  We have a jacket, uniforms, shoes, sweatshirts ect.  If  you have lost anything please come and check in the office

Fundraiser LCA will be holding a huge fundraiser in April.  This is a major event and we plan on making this a memorable one.  LCA vs. Tiny Trotters basketball team. This is an event you won’t want to miss.  The Tiny Trotters are a little people team from South Carolina.  They have been seen on Spike TV and are becoming a popular family entertainment favorite.  If you have ever seen the Harlem Globe Trotters, this team is similar, however they are little people.  For more information please visit their website at tinytrotters.com. This event will be held at the Elkton High School on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 7pm.Doors will open at 6pm.  This event will be open to the public. The tickets are on sale now and are $15 per adult (ages 13 and up) and $10 per child (all ages up to 12).  All LCA students will be $10 per ticket.  At this fundraiser we will have a concession stand. You can have your picture taken with one of the tiny trotters to purchase and we will also be selling videos of the event.  There will also be a silent auction.  The seating is limited so get your tickets before they are gone.     Included with this week’s Beacon is a sign up sheet.  You can fill it out and send it in with payment to your child’s homeroom teacher.  We look forward to your participation and supporting LCA. 

  4^th Grade 4^th Grade is collecting cans and small plastic bottles for children in Haiti. Please help us out in this effort to help someone else. Please bring them to the 4^th Grade classroom in the yellow building. 

 Piano Lessons Suzy Brostrand has 2 openings for piano lessons. She is in the Perryville area. (410)-378-9359 if interested.  

 Fundraiser 9^th through 12^th grade will be selling snacks (chips, brownies, cookies ect.) during lunch  to help raise money for their Formal.     

Inclement Weather LCA follows Cecil County Public School guidelines for inclement weather. If CCPS are delayed or closed we will also be delayed or closed. If it starts snowing during the day Pastor Phillips will make the decision to close early. At this point you will receive a one call.  Also do not pay attention to Lighthouse on the News it is not our school.
